WS2: Increase Capacity to Identify and Support Elderly Domestic Violence Victim
Objectives:
- Strengthen the healthcare setting capacities to better serve older women victims of domestic violence
- Develop and implement the Best Practice Protocols in participant countries
Activities:
- Experts update the training programme for healthcare settings
- Develop Best Practice Protocols for identifying and supporting elderly female victims of violence in health care settings
- Carry out Train the Trainer on how to lead elderly domestic violence support training for healthcare professionals
- Translate training materials and health care protocols to national partner languages (Finnish, Estonian, Greek, Latvian and German)
Outputs:
- 1 updated programme curriculum
- 6 Best Practice Protocols and identification tools
- 1 Training Manual
- 1 Training with partner organizations
- 6 local trainings with healthcare professionals
- 6 local trainings with partner organizations
- 20 advocacy meetings with healthcare policy makers
- 6 advocacy campaigns per partner country
