Greek partners hold Advocacy meetings with Greek Parliamentarians and Embassadors

Greek partner, Union of Women Associations of Heraklion Prefecture (UWAH), carried out three advocacy meetings in frame of the WHOSEFVA Project.

On Thursday, September 20, 2018, UWAH met with Ioannis Michelogiannakis (Member of the Greek Parliament) to discuss domestic violence and elder abuse, WHOSEFVA Project, and the Manual and Policy Recommendations. On Wednesday, September 26, 2018, UWAH met with Elisabeth Lothe (First Secretary Political), Anne Havnor and Polyxeni Anastasiou (Executives from the Embassy of Norway in Greece).

Another meeting was held on Friday, September 28, 2018 where UWAH met with Eleftherios Avgenakis (Member of the Greek Parliament, General Secretary of ‘New Democracy’ Party), and finally on Friday, October 19, 2018, UWAH held a meeting with Nikos Igoumenidis (Member of the Greek Parliament, Ex-Governor of the 7th Regional Health Authority of Greece).
