Informative Advocacy Meetings took place in the UK

On Thursday, June 21st, 4 sessions with local policy makers, members of local councils and members from health and social care settings took place.

During such sessions, participants discussed the WHOSEFVA Project and its main aims and objectives. The Kilcooley Women’s Center in Northern Ireland gave a brief overview of the training manual and what will be included, discussed policy recommendations, and also conversed about relevant legislation in the UK and how the UK can progress moving forward. Incidents of domestic violence in the UK were also discussed, including patterns of domestic violence and if there has been any change over the years. AGENDA of the meeting and SLIDES.
